It’s always nice to have a little more ‘poke’ at play time, and CFMOTO makes 62hp from the 800cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, four-stroke V-twin, which is married to a CVT transmission. Torque is 72Nm. The ZFORCE 800 TRAIL has two power modes, as well as two- and four-wheel drive with front locking differential. Four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes stop the SSV on a dime.

There’s never been a better time to take flight. The dual-seat ZFORCE 800 TRAIL’s suspension travel has increased by 26mm (up to 255mm) on the front, and at the tail end the magical ‘300’ mark has been eclipsed with 305mm travel. Fully adjustable gas shocks with remote reservoirs are the ultimate in bump-absorption, and a 254mm longer wheelbase provides exceptional stability – while maintaining extraordinary corner-carving agility.
INSIDE THE CABIN
It’s not just on the outside where the new ZFORCE 800 TRAIL reigns supreme. The driver gets a new five-inch LCD display, dual-mode electronic power steering, smartphone connectivity and a flat-bottomed steering wheel, while the passenger feels more assured during the hurly-burly with an adjustable grab bar. Both occupants get improved and adjustable sports seats, as well as beefier half doors.
